Welcome!

I've tried loads of different ways of losing weight, incuding faddy diets, meal replacements, weight-loss CDs, divorce and slimming clubs. I've been at this game for over 20 years and I've had clothes in sizes 10-18 (although in reality I should have been wearing a size 20!) My body has been made to reduce and stretch so many times like a recycled balloon. That cannot be good for my health!

I've felt disappointed, depressed, unworthy and very unfit. I want to change that. I want to feel full of energy and be able to wear gorgeous clothes and know that I look good in them. I want to look in the mirror and say 'I am a package of fabulousness' and mean it. Why not?!

What's different this time? I'm 38 next and life is too short to live it in a body I'm not happy with. I'm in charge of what I put in my mouth and whilst there are lots of reasons why I eat (why any of us do) I'm the only person who can do anything about that. I've realised that I've got to change my eating habits but that I need support and encouragement. I've found that at Slimming World.

I've included my weight gain/loss/gain/loss/gain/loss history so you can see where I'm coming from and you can follow my weekly journey until I get to my target weight (which I'm definately going to get to this time!)

I dont have all the answers, but I do like to talk and I'd like to share my journey with anyone who wants to listen.
